How did you get into photography?

I've honestly been into creative arts and took some classes in high school for film. I started out just taking pictures on my Iphone 6s and then translating that into an actual camera setup that I have at the moment.

Who are some of your biggest inspirations?

Some of the inspirations, I would say life in general first, its too much out here not to be inspired even by the smallest object/situation. Some on insta would be @ro.lexx, @kwlsey, @sdotbalaban, @tdangy, @sanghan_. Seeing their different styles/personalities helps me to create my own individual style and reminds me to stay open to a different perspective of certain objects/individuals.

How do you prepare yourself for a shoot?

First pray and give recognition to the one who allows me to show my craft, second listen to some music (whatever mood I'm feeling at that time), and then mentally lock into the ideas that I could use on the shoot at the time.

What do you ultimately want to say with your work?

I want to say that it's not one dimensional in any way, shape or fashion. Documenting memories through my cameras gives me access to more things in life that's helped me tremendously. I want people to know that anything you like doing to make the most of that thing until it's time to grow or move on forward from it. We were meant to explore and have different parts to us. I want to create timeless shots that hold its value.

If you could give a young photographer any advice, what would you tell em?

To focus solely on how they want the world to see their work. No outside distractions or voices disrupting the vision they have for their life and journey with Photography. And to make sure that they are not stepping outside of who they are as a person at any time, because that's when you lose yourself and the work will show that.
