If you’re someone that loves to grub, holla if you hear me! If you’re someone who loves juicy burgers, flavor packed chicken sandwiches, smackable finger foods, holla if you hear me! Sauced KC has quickly become the go-to lunch spot for Downtown Kansas Citians.

Sauced KC is located right off 19th & Main St, in a cozy cubicle where all the magic happens. Though this is no dine-inside establishment, the outside seating arrangements are almost unbeatable for the overall package of service, food, and environment. The scenery includes a zenned out, secluded area, with trees, nice table set ups, and even a few swinging hammock chairs to top off the vibes. The area is very open and welcoming to all customers that enter the space. You can almost feel the hard work that’s been put in to make such effortless energy radiate from this eatery.

We have Kansas City’s own legendary Chef Jayaun to thank for this. Sauced KC is just one of the many prized possessions that Chef Jay has brought to the city. Of course we must credit his team that he has behind him, helping him run his businesses and keep them flowing. We know it takes a village to raise a child, or in this case, a thriving business or businesses. Among offering a countless amount of pop-up shops, brunch events, and private chef work for some highly accredited folks, Chef Jayaun continues to give the people what they want.

Chef Jay has done numerous things within the city, and is continually recognized for his hard work and drive. He was featured on season 20 of Hell’s Kitchen with Chef Gordon Ramsey, and he also won Best Chef in 2018 with the KCPCA. When it comes to showing love in Kansas City, one thing’s for sure and two’s for certain, people gon’ eat. Support for local chefs is something I see very often. Considering we all are consumers in some way shape or form, showing love where it’s due shouldn’t be hard. This is second nature when it comes to Chef Jayaun. Based on the love and effort he puts into producing quality events, genuine vibes, and astounding eats, he should get nothing less than love. We appreciate you Chef Jay, you got the sauce for sure!

The SABER team stopped by Sauced KC, some for a familiar bite, others for a newfound experience. All of which were satisfied and satiated beyond request. Literally, I had to put the sandwich down because of how hefty it was at the time. Can you say juicy? Juicy!
